Prerequisite: Completion of a Japanese language beginner’s course.
The focus of this course is to revise the basic Japanese language grammar rules and prepare students to acquire Japanese communication skills. Textbook: J- Bridge to Intermediate Japanese
b- Advanced Course
20th September- 6th December, every Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
(During Ramadan 8:00 – 10:00 pm.)
Prerequisite: Passing Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test “JLPT” or attainment equal to or higher than Level 2 of JLPT.
The aim of this course is to improve student’s Japanese language skills through various tasks and activities, such as reading, discussions, debates, and writing reports & essays on various subjects.
c- JLPT Level 2 Preparatory Course
Every other Tuesday: 5 lessons - 18th Sep., 2nd Oct., 23rd Oct., 6th Nov. and 20th Nov.
6:00 – 8:00 pm. (During Ramadan 8:00 – 10:00 pm.)
*On 20th November a mock exam will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Prerequisite: Passing Level 3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test “JLPT” and the intention of taking the “JLPT” Level 2
Students will develop the Japanese language skills through practice sessions using past test papers.
d- JLPT Level 1 Preparatory Course
Every other Tuesday: 5 lessons - 25th Sep., 9th Oct.- 30th Oct., 13th Nov. and 27th Nov.
6:00 – 8:00 pm. (During Ramadan 8:00 – 10:00 pm.)
*On 27th November a mock exam will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Prerequisite: Passing Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test “JLPT” and a person with the intention of taking the “JLPT” Level 1.
Students will develop the Japanese language skills through practice sessions using past test papers.

4. Placement Test:
Thursday 6th September 2007 6:00pm- (for 2 hours)
All applicants must take a placement test, except the following:
All Levels: Those who are repeating a course taken last year or during the 2007 Spring Semester. Intermediate Level: Those who have passed Level 3 of JLPT Advanced Level: Those who have passed JLPT Level 1 or 2.
*Applicants wishing to be exempted from the placement test must present a certificate proving their proficiency at the relevant level
*There is no Placement Test for applicants of JLPT Level 2 & Level 1 Preparatory Course.
