The purpose of this course is to serve as a bridge from the beginners level to the intermediate level. The students will improve their Japanese language skills and knowledge.

b- Intermediate Course 2
7th April - 30th June
Every Monday and Thursday, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Prerequisite: Completion of two consecutive
semesters intermediate course 1.
The purpose of this course is to improve the learners’ grammar and expressions usage as well as increase the number of vocabulary words and Chinese characters (Kanji). The learners will improve their communication skills and be able to read more complex text.

c- Advanced Course
10th April - 26th June
Every Thursday, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Prerequisite: Passing Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test “JLPT” or attainment equal to or higher than Level 2 of the JLPT.
The aim of this course is to improve the students’ Japanese language skills through various tasks and activities, such as reading, discussions, debates, and writing reports & essays on different subjects.

3. Application Period:

4. Placement Test:
Thursday 27th March 2008, 6:00pm- (for 2 hours)
All applicants must take a placement test, except for the following:
All Levels: Those who are repeating a course taken last year. Intermediate 1: Those who have passed Level 3 of the JLPT, or who have completed Level-6 of the Japan Foundation Japanese language beginner’s course. Intermediate 2: All applicants must take a placement test. Advanced: Those who have passed JLPT Level 1 or 2.
*Applicants wishing to be exempted from the placement test must present a certificate proving their proficiency at the relevant level.
